Dialog Hotel Örgryte

The location was okay, and the staff were helpful, but I couldn't get proper rest here. Noise from other guests using the taps or toilet came through clearly, and it woke me up several times during the night. The room wasn't clean enough, and the bathroom had a strange smell. For the low price, I expected better value. It just wasn't worth it.

Public transport was easy to reach, and the indoor parking felt safe. The staff were lovely, the breakfast buffet was nice, and I slept well in a good bed. The room was a little worn, but it was clean.

The hotel made a great base, with most places walkable and a bus stopping right outside for trips into town. We arrived late after a flight delay, but the 24-hour reception still had someone there to check us in. Our room was clean and had what we needed. Breakfast was nice, especially the amazing pancakes. We didn't eat at the hotel, though other guests seemed to eat there regularly. The bar had a good selection and stayed open late every evening.

The beds were comfortable and the room stayed warm, but the breakfast was disappointing, with very little choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself wasn't up to standard: the pillows were cushions, there were only two small towels for two people, and there was a horrible sewer smell from the toilet. Even the public toilets on the hotel's lowest floor smelled, and there was mould and mildew around the toilet. We booked through wowcher and travelodeal, but ended up paying more for the break than planned.
