It's near the old part of the city, with a restaurant, cafe, and shop close by. The train station is about 1.5 km away, but walking there along the shopping street or through the park is no problem. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and the kind of selection you'd find at a large hotel chain. I appreciate the small details other hotels overlook, like the special remote control that's easy to wash because it has no raised buttons. You can also make coffee or tea for free in the hotel restaurant all day, so there's no need for a kettle in the room.

The decor is simple and rustic, but really beautiful, and the staff are so friendly. It's a quiet, convenient spot with easy access to the tram network. I've had no issues at all and am really happy with my stay. I'll definitely come back.
6/10
The staff, from reception to the cleaning team, were extremely friendly. The hotel is centrally located, and they offer breakfast and hot drinks, though I didn't try either. The rooms don't block sound well. Also, booking through the hotel's own website may add hidden taxes that aren't obvious when choosing a room. Still, I found the staff really nice, so those negative points faded for me.
6/10
We stayed at the Vasa Hotel for two nights, and the warm, welcoming staff made us feel at home. Breakfast was another strong point, with fresh, tasty food and lots of options. But sounds from outside came easily into the room, which made it less comfortable, especially at night. It was an okay stay overall. The service and breakfast were great, but light sleepers should keep the poor sound insulation in mind.
10/10
The old building has high ceilings and colorful walls, and the little wooden bastu was cozy. Everything was very clean and tidy, even with renovations going on. The staff were fantastic, kind, quick, professional, and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good, too. I'll definitely book again.
