First Camp Tylösand

The location is very good, with lots of children's playgrounds, but management is a bit poor. Despite having plenty of security staff, the young crowds staying there made the noise a nightmare. Customer service kindly warned us that it could be noisy, but people don't come here for the beach, do they? After checking in, I found it was beyond what I'd imagined. Music went on from 7:30 in the morning until midnight, and noise continued until 2 am. If you like peace and quiet, it's a two day nightmare. If you enjoy wild outdoor parties, come here, you won't regret it.

Tylosand beach, one of Sweden's most beautiful seaside spots, is right in front of the campsite. The site is big and well organized, but the shop is too small, and there's even less choice of bread in the morning. The sanitary buildings aren't clean. Two days later, I could still find the same dirt in the shower.

It's super loud. We've been here three times. The place is beautiful, but it seems to attract youngsters who like to party. There are plenty of other places where you can get a good night's sleep. I'm not coming back.

The beach is really nice, but that's the only good thing I can say about this campsite. The toilets and showers were dirty and shabby, with at least one toilet always broken or out of toilet paper. Even if all of them worked, there aren't enough for a campsite this size. At least one washing machine was broken too. What made it hell was the adult men acting like teenagers, playing loud music all day and shouting all night. The staff and night watch barely do anything to keep quiet hours. When we raised the issue, they said they'd look into it and then nothing happened. With so many similar bad reviews, this seems to be a problem every year, and they should have had plenty of time to sort it out. We're a family travelling with children in a tent. Don't stay here unless you don't mind waiting ages for a dirty toilet or shower and can sleep through the night.
