The bistro menu was excellent, though that's all I can speak to on the food. Haparanda has just one hotel and one bar, so if you're spending the night in town, this may be a good choice.

The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, and what you need for cooking, plus there's a shared living room with a sofa and table. You can also use the nice sauna on the third floor. Breakfast covers the basics well, even if it isn't quite a Scandic breakfast, and there's plenty of parking around the place. The room has the expected things, including a comfortable bed, toilet and shower, TV, and a table and chair. Nothing was missing, but there was nothing special either. It feels a bit outdated. For the price, it's a good place to stay.

I've been here four times and would gladly return. The rooms are lovely, and the kitchen has everything I need, all at very reasonable prices. Breakfast wasn't served in the restaurant, unfortunately, and the reception is staffed only until 4 pm.

My room was clean and fresh, with a TV and bathroom, and the toilet and everything else were in good shape. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was good. The price also seemed fair for the facilities. The one snag was that my entry code didn't work, so I had to call for a replacement before I could get into the room. I'd recommend this place.

Clean and nice, and it was peaceful and quiet with good parking. The room was okay for a night, but the bathroom was very worn and really needs renovation.
