I was on the second floor, in a room facing the courtyard, on a Friday night. I really wish I'd been warned when booking: guests in the pub downstairs got louder and more intoxicated as the night went on, and the last ones didn't leave until 1:15 AM. I would never stay here again. Check-in and checkout were uncomfortable too. I was asked to pay when I arrived, so I had to prove I'd already paid. Even after I showed proof, they seemed suspicious. At checkout, instead of apologizing for their mix-up, they asked AGAIN whether I'd paid. If their system can't show completed payments clearly, they should have a way to check without making guests feel distrusted, especially when they have proof.

We could watch ships arrive and leave from the sauna, which was a unique experience. The hotel is right on the shore with a stunning sea view, next to the ferry port. Our room was clean, and breakfast had a great selection of local and international food. It was simply exceptional.

The staff were amazing, and the location was perfect. We loved our time at this beautiful hotel. The breakfasts were incredible, and all guests can enjoy them as part of the rate. The bishop arms was our favorite pub in town!

Good rooms, nice staff, and a really good breakfast. The hotel has a pub inside, and there's a local store close by. The location is very convenient, beside the ferry terminal and the train and bus stations.
