We borrowed a rowboat for a few hours and paddled around the lake, stopping at one of the little beach islands for a swim. The pool was warm and clean, and the kids and dog were welcome too. There are several paths into the forest right from the hotel, with a lovely outdoor setting, good food and a great location. The staff were lovely as well.

The food was so delicious, and the views were beautiful. Add in the luxurious spa and it made for an amazing experience. Absolutely worth it!

The adult meals were all delicious, though the kids' food was hit and miss, with some things quite salty at times. Everyone working there was lovely, especially Maria at the front desk. We had a very comfortable bed and a strong, good shower. The rooms could use a refresh, though the Riverside spa is modern and really nice. It's a lovely spot, just a short drive from the Isaberg ski resort. We'll be back!

The restaurant dinner wasn't especially memorable, and the wine list felt rather dull. Breakfast was fine. We stayed just one night for a romantic spa break, booking the junior suite deluxe. It had a roomy tub/spa in the room, a decent bed and a really cozy feel. The Riverside spa is beautiful and newly built, fitting into the surrounding nature, with a stunning river view from the pool.

The location is great, and the rooms are cozy, but the front desk service was horrible. We had to leave a day early because of unexpected work changes. I let them know ahead of time, thinking it might prevent food from going to waste, but they still expected us to check out at 11.00, despite the room and food being paid for another 24 hours. They offered no refund, credit or discount for a future stay. At checkout we were charged for mineral water. The waiter proudly said they make it themselves, but no one had told us there would be an extra charge. That would have been fine on its own, but along with the rigid response at the front desk, it left a bitter taste after what could have been a great stay. It's hard to feel like visiting again.
