We especially enjoy coming here for a relaxed family lunch with tasty food. The service is welcoming and very pleasant, and there are handpicked Italian and local treats along with delicious desserts. It’s a charming, rustic Swedish farmhouse. A great stop if you’re traveling through Hälsingland, one of Sweden’s most beautiful areas.

Henrik was friendly and accommodating, and it was fascinating to hear him talk about the history of the place. We had a lovely stay at Frägsta Hälsingegård. The sauna was great, dinner was amazing, and breakfast was spot on too. Good value, and I can really recommend it!

The place is exceptionally beautiful, and arranging the kayaks with the host, who was our contact for collecting them on site, went smoothly. Highly recommended.

The owner gave us a friendly welcome, and we’re staying overnight in a pretty, well-maintained room. It’s such a nice place. I can’t say anything about the restaurant, unfortunately, since it’s closed during our stay.

The food is delicious Italian cooking from the Italian-Swedish brothers who own the place. And the setting is absolutely amazing, right by a picturesque lake.
