I slept well after a nice sauna, tucked in among the soft hotel pillows. The sauna is beside the old prison cells, with a mini gym nearby. There's also a mini museum in the building where you can read stories about former residents. People say they still roam around, if you believe in ghosts. They date back to when the building was a prison. It's a small, cozy hotel with nice rooms, friendly staff, and a delicious evening meal. I can recommend it, though the relax and sauna area needs some care and refreshing. That would really improve the place.

The people here made the stay welcoming. Everyone was down to earth, from reception and the kitchen staff to the guy cleaning at night, whom I met when I needed the wifi. They smiled and offered service even to a demanding guest like me. Sofie handled the issues with style, so I'm not going to post the negatives. Dinner was great, the rice was cooked well, breakfast was great too, and I slept well. Sofie also sorted out a parking spot. The room arrangement was the main issue. We're a family of six, and I booked two rooms for three people each, as the website showed. The rooms we got on the 4th floor had no space for a third bed. I chose a double bed thinking it would fit three, but it didn't match the description. On arrival, I hadn't received the two rooms for three that I paid for on booking dot com. The bigger rooms on the second floor were available, but we had to pay for extra beds to use them. Sofie did her best to help. Parking is limited and isn't free, even though the booking details might make it seem that way.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and gave our stay a nice at-home feeling. Dinner was included in the price, which I liked. It was simple but tasty and good value. The rooms were quite small, as were the bar and gym, but the staff found good ways to make our stay work.

We stayed in room #202 on 13 -14/November/2019 and were very pleased with the clean, comfortable hotel, the wonderful breakfast and dinner, and the great service from both the front desk staff and the cleaning crew. We had to check out on 14/11/2019 because something came up. Lillemor was friendly, understanding, and professional in helping us deal with the emergency, and we really appreciated it. We've recommended the hotel to many friends and colleagues and think they'll enjoy staying here as much as we did.

We had a very happy stay. A big thank you to Klara, who was lovely and helped us with a last-minute booking. The hotel is well located in town, and although it's small, it's a nice place for a short visit.
