The bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and the location suited us well. The only issue was the bathroom floor, where I found some long black hairs and crumbs. I was exhausted, so I didn't tell reception, though I probably will next time. I hate complaining, but we pay for the room and a clean floor seems like a fair thing to expect.

The hotel is right in the centre, with lovely modern rooms and very friendly staff. Sound carries around the place more than I'd like, so it was a bit noisy. Even so, I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.

The breakfast buffet was insanely good, and our three-course dinner was amazing too. Hotel Fratelli's spa is small, but really pretty and has lots of different options. I had such a wonderful time and will definitely come back next time I'm in Karlstad.

The rooms were comfortable and it's a nice place. My one little gripe is that the room only comes with three coffees for the kettle, and they aren't replenished. To ask for more, you have to call reception using your mobile and dial an international number, then go through the menu and extension numbers.

The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the young woman at reception on Aug 3rd, and we really felt spoiled. We were only there for one night, but had very comfortable, clean rooms and spacious, spotless bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious, and my 7yo daughter was impressed by the spa area. The hotel had opened in April 2024, so it's new.
