The breakfast was perfect, and the room itself was lovely, especially the stunning bathroom. We did have a problem connecting Netflix on the TV because room 9308 apparently wasn’t checked in for some reason. The staff were so kind that it was hard to stay annoyed about it. During the renovation of the restaurant and bar, I missed the vanilla yogurt I’d had on the first two mornings, but it was a small thing. Thank you to Yakki, Graca, and Zozan for being so nice and making our stay memorable. The woman at the Spa reception, who I think was Thai, was lovely too, though I didn’t get her name. Thanks as well for the birthday surprise for my roommate. It was a small gesture that meant a lot to her. And Kia, thanks for lending me a lighter! Everyone was always available when we needed them. You made our time in Stockholm so nice. Kind regards from Zagreb, Croatia, and thanks again to the voco Stockholm - Kista by IHG team.

The room was clean, cozy, and had good amenities, and the pool was excellent. I liked the sauna rooms too, though the doors wouldn’t shut all the way, so they didn’t hold their temperature. The hotel staff were wonderfully friendly. Service at the spa front desk was the one part that could be better.

The spa made for a really relaxing start to my first full day, and I loved the cocktail after dinner. The Toast Skagen was a favorite, and breakfast was delicious, especially the traditional pickled herring and mustard herring. Staff were very attentive at dinner, so a shout-out to Kia and the other Latina Waitress. I had a great birthday weekend in Stockholm. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel welcome, and I was upgraded to a King Room on the top floor. I can’t wait to book another stay with the Voco Stockholm Kista. It’ll be hard for another Voco to top this one.

We were able to stay longer and enjoy the pool thanks to a free late checkout. The hot tub and pool were nice to use, though unfortunately the sauna and steam room weren’t working. Breakfast was amazing, and our small room was very clean and comfortable. We had booked it with breakfast and spa included for our one-night stay. The reception staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet, pleasant area. It took about 20 minutes to get there from ARN by train, and getting to the city center by metro took roughly the same.

The rooms were cleaned well, and staff were generally friendly and accommodating when they could be. Still, this feels very much like a budget hotel with cheap fake marble layered on to give it a “premium” look. The beds are hard and narrow, the pillows flat, and the rooms cold in winter. Staff seemed confused about most things and poorly onboarded. It felt like Fawlty Towers, only without the charm. The restaurant was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’m not exaggerating: don’t eat here. Even at half the price and served in half the time, the food would still be awful. This place has a serious management problem.
