The staff and owners were really nice and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and pleasant. I stayed for a longer stretch, and cleaning could have been better. Maybe that was because of the length of my stay, but vacuuming should happen weekly either way. Breakfast is basic, and during a long stay I got tired of it quickly. Some variation would be nice. I also noticed that the lemons used to flavor the water still had their stickers on, so I think it’s fair to assume they hadn’t been washed before going into the carafe.

My room had a very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with a great shower. It was also a nice surprise to be upgraded from a single to a double bathroom. The room was large and bright, with a massive bathroom. The view over the parking lot wasn’t charming, but being close to the centre made up for it. The kitchenette was very sparse: no kettle, just a little cutlery and tableware, and not even a bottle opener. I was confused that the booking photos showed a hob when the description didn’t mention one. The hob in my room was out of use, which could have been made clearer. The wifi didn’t work properly in the room, but the city wifi worked well enough. I’m writing this a bit disappointed after finding the breakfast room closed at 7.15. Reception had said breakfast was from 7 to 9, but apparently on weekends it only starts at 8. It’s a comfortable place, though the small details could use more attention.

The rooms were modern, spacious, and very clean, and they made arrangements for my special case. It was a very good price too. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

The listing says there’s a kitchen, but the hobs have been disconnected because of fire concerns.
