Hotel Öresund Conference & Spa

The spa is a relaxing place to unwind. The hotel is in a great location and has quite spacious rooms. Service and food were fantastic.

I'm staying here for three weeks, and this will be my last time. I still need to travel back to Landskrona in the coming months, but I won't stay here again. When I arrived, the receptionist said I had to pay for the entire stay in advance. I spend around 120 days a year in hotels for work and travel, and this is the first time I've been asked to pay the full amount upfront. It wasn't a deposit. When I asked why, she said management required it. The next day, the kitchen was down and they couldn't provide hot food like eggs, bacon, or sausage. They only had cold cuts, salami, vegetables, and similar items. I asked if they could compensate me since I'd paid for a hot breakfast, but they said no because breakfast had been provided. I explained that I had paid for a hot meal, but they didn't care. They checked with management, who agreed with them. That day I had breakfast at McDonald's. The management really doesn't care about guests.

The hotel is fine, and its location in the middle of Landskorna makes it easy to enjoy the lovely surroundings. Breakfast is above average, though nothing unusual. For the price, the beds could be better. Having separate beds instead of one double bed is annoying.

The location is perfect: easy to reach by car, with a quick walk to the center or the Citadel. The beds and room were comfortable, and the breakfast menu was very nice. Dinner at the restaurant was good, too. The rooms could use proper writing desks, though.
