The area is peaceful, with water nearby, and there’s free parking. There’s also a small pool and sauna. Reception isn’t open around the clock. I was there for a work conference, so the room and food were free. The room was okay, and neither it nor the food was something I’d pay for. They could do better with both. I stayed in room 504 at 'Lilla Villan', in the separate building next to the main one. It has only four rooms, so I didn’t hear much from the neighbors.

The rooms are small, but it’s a lovely, quiet, romantic spot for a weekend getaway, with easy access from central Stockholm. The outdoor pool and sauna were great.

Dinner service began attentive and sharp, but dessert took nearly an hour to arrive. The pre-booked three-course meal included char-grilled sea bass that tasted exceptional, though it had too many bones to deal with. The room felt stuffy for two, with stale, poorly circulated air, and we got warm and sweaty under the winter blankets overnight. There’s a lot going for the location: water, green lawns, walking trails, and a bus stop nearby. The warm pool overlooking the water was refreshing and thoroughly relaxing.

It’s a cozy place with a nice view, but our room smelled damp. Breakfast on Saturday was supposed to run until 11:00, yet when we arrived at 10:15 the staff had already started clearing everything. Nobody had told us that they’d begin cleaning 45 minutes early, either the night before or that morning. It was an unpleasant surprise.

Dinner was a highlight, with a great variety of dishes that we really enjoyed. Villa Lövik felt incredibly cozy and peaceful, and the service was commendable. Our room was a little smaller than we expected, but still comfortable. We left with lovely memories of our stay.
