Hilma Winblads Bed & Breakfast

The location was the biggest surprise: it's right in the middle of the open-air museum of the old city. The room was clean and even romantic, and I liked everything in principle. It is quite pricey, like everything in Sweden, but worth the money. There was one bathroom per floor, but with only three rooms on my floor and six in the whole building, that wasn't an issue. Breakfast is at a nearby cafe, and I would've liked a little more choice.

It was a fairytale setting in Linkoping, calm and pleasant, with cozy rooms in houses that are part of a museum. Breakfast was good. You enter the rooms using a personal code, which can be a bit tricky at check-in, but management responds and guides guests over the phone.

This is my second stay, and I'll book again. The rooms are cozy, clean, and bright. In Elsa, the wifi reaches poorly and sometimes drops on my phone, though it reconnects quickly, so it doesn't really bother me. The toilet paper was a little too rough this time, but I still had the best overall experience and will visit again.

The rooms are clean and tastefully done, and the setting is beautiful and quiet, with lovely gardens and a small forest nearby for walks. I really appreciate the historic place and its surroundings. Breakfast at the cafe makes for a perfect start to the day, and when the weather's good you can eat outside in the garden. The staff were friendly. We'll come back.
