Hotel Concordia

I wouldn't stay here again. The rate felt far too high for what we got, and the Booking photos didn't match the room. It was tiny, more like a storage closet, and cold, with an uncomfortable bed and just one small pillow. There were no outlets near the bed, which was a nuisance. The shower also felt unpleasant and unhygienic, with a cheap curtain-like material instead of a proper enclosure. Comfort was very poor.

Breakfast was generous, with several juices and nectars, plus muesli and yoghurt. Our room was small, but the bed was excellent, with a mattress that was good for my back. The hotel sits in the old part of the city, close to everything, on cobbled streets, and the room was comfortable and quiet.

For a stay near the center of Lund, Hotel Concordia is my regular choice. I've spent about a year in Lund in total, and the rates are very reasonable for what you get. Booking on the hotel's own website is usually much cheaper than using the usual platforms. It's an old-school place with what you need, without much fancy stuff. The rooms I've had were on the small side but comfortable, with good beds and showers that beat what I've found in typical central European hotels. The sound insulation could be better, though it's never been loud during my stays. There's a comprehensive breakfast at a fair price, and it's about a five-minute walk from the train station via the southern exit.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the rooms were really comfortable. Service was good too, and they had a place to leave luggage for a while. I'll definitely come back. Kudos to the team.
