Hotel Lundia

You really can't beat the location. The hotel itself is quite nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty complete, and now they have scrambled eggs too.

The location made the trip easy: Lund Central Station is about a five-minute walk, and getting there from Copenhagen Airport was straightforward. I booked a single room for three nights. It was clean and comfortable, with a minimalist Swedish style I liked. Lund is a beautiful city and worth exploring. On the second night, construction noise came through my room quite late and disturbed me. I called reception, then raised it in person the next morning and sent a message through Booking.com. The staff apologized sincerely and quickly offered to move me. While I was at a conference that afternoon, they called to check that everything had been sorted out. They also upgraded me to a suite, included a fancy breakfast at the Grand Hotel of Lund, and gave me a thoughtful gift pack. I left feeling cared for and valued. That's the kind of responsive hospitality I appreciate. Highly recommended.

This is a very no-frills hotel, a block from Lund C, with nothing unnecessary. The room was tiny but had a great view and four Swedish-language TV channels. Its shower had a small, picturesque partition that did little to hold back the water, so the bathroom flooded if you weren't careful. Breakfast was just as basic: one kind of cheese, one kind of meat, and very cheap, unripe pears and apples. There wasn't much attention to allergies. No indulgence here.

We, the Lund family, are staying at Hotel Lundia now, and the staff have been so kind and helpful. Sebastian and Felicia were especially helpful, and Maria in the restaurant area was sweet and patient with my children. Our room worked perfectly for our family of four, and the kids loved the bunk beds. The included continental breakfast had lots of nice choices, and the train is only minutes away on foot. I highly recommend the hotel.
