The staff I dealt with were lovely, and I got nine hours of uninterrupted sleep. The location is great, and I can recommend Siesta, a short walk away. Still, I'd stay here again only if I had to, though now I know what to expect. The hotel isn't luxurious, to put it mildly. It badly needs a facelift, and the rooms are beyond basic. My daughter saw a photo and asked, “what in the prison cell?” The room was too hot, though opening the window easily fixed that. The shower made me giggle, and breakfast was functional. I've stayed in some dire work hotels after thinking I'd found a bargain, but the reviews have been a bit harsh on this one.

The location is nice and breakfast is included. The rooms and bathroom are perfectly fine, even if the place looks a little old. It's not a wild or fancy hotel, but I don't think its really low rating is deserved. Honestly, I'd give it at least a 3.5.

The bathroom was the worst part: the sink was broken, it smelled like a public restroom, and the shower wasn't separated from the rest of the room, so the whole bathroom flooded after I used it. The room was small and extremely yellow. Reception wouldn't give me extra towels, and the staff spoke only basic English. This was definitely the worst hotel I've stayed in.

It was a terrible stay in a great city, Malmö. My room was cold as a fridge, and reception refused to move me. There was no service at the hotel.

The location is fantastic, and the rooms and service are alright. It has a very hostel-like feel, so budget travelers should give it some grace. The essentials are covered.
