The veranda was a big bonus, and the owners made up for the room's shortcomings with amazing breakfast and service. The room is a bit small and doesn't have some basics, like a wardrobe or cooking utensils, though the owner can provide the utensils. I'd happily return.

Ranjee is the friendliest host I've met, and breakfast is made to order so you can say what you'd like. The room was bright and clean, with its own outdoor sitting area. There is a little kitchen for cooking or making tea, plus a very good shower with a large head. The mattress and pillow felt like those in a four-star hotel. A perfect place to unwind by the lake and canal.

I didn't find the stay comfortable, and I wouldn't recommend it. The room was tiny and very cold. The owner came into my room and my friend's room to switch off the heaters. After work one day, I saw that my things had been moved and looked through. Someone had broken a drinking glass in the room and left it on the floor. The owner is Apu from Simpsons.
