Åmåsängsgården

We only booked one night in our campervan, then wished we’d planned a longer stay. The campsite is calm and lovely, right by a lakeside beach, and the hosts were really friendly. We also loved the restaurant pizzas.

We had a good stay and thought it was good value. The facilities were clean and there were plenty of them, with good service too. The spot is lovely, with a beach and easy access to town. We were camping in our van.

The pizza was a real treat, and the price felt fair for what was included. Staff were helpful, and our one-night stay went well. The services were adequate.

The restaurant and bar were a highlight for us. We had delicious, authentic Italian-style pizzas and other good food, plus beer and wine at reasonable prices. The place is bright and nicely decorated, and service was both quick and friendly. The site itself is small and welcoming, set in a quiet, natural area that feels almost remote, yet it’s close to Mora and away from the crowds. There are lovely views over lake Silian, with open access to a sandy beach and a big recreation area. The modern stugas sit alongside some larger homes in a historic style. The service building is spacious, modern, clean, and well heated. There’s good provision for motorhomes, and the staff are very friendly. We’d love to come back to Mora Life Camping.
