Hotel Kneippen

I won't recommend this dental clinic to anyone. I'm hugely disappointed, and sorry. At my first visit they took X-rays, which was good, but the new dental nurse had to take them more than once. I have underlying illnesses that cause severe jaw pain, and the X-ray plates gave me ulcers in my mouth. I have a fear of dentists, and Monika came in for just a few seconds, said what she had found, examined me quickly, and left me sitting there with that fear. The nurse was inexperienced and not careful, even though I asked her to be. Monika showed me a boil, which I accept was there, but she also failed to notice a fistula, a 12 mm deep gap in a tooth, and two cracks, one in each root. Only one of three was okay. I found this out after getting a second opinion from another dentist. Monika said I could choose a root tip operation, but she was wrong: the tooth couldn't be saved. After the visit I emailed the clinic a lot about my health. Monika did make the right call to refer me to the hospital for better help. But reception first told me the referral was sent on the 21st; when I called again because they hadn't booked a follow-up, it turned out it was sent on the 26th.

The good dentist left, and I ended up seeing different dentists. After waiting four months for a quote and getting nowhere, I questioned how seriously the clinic was taking things. In the end, I was referred to another clinic.

I'm so glad I switched clinics. I was really happy with my visit: the staff were nice, the service was professional, and I felt safe the whole time. I'd highly recommend this clinic!

They made me feel welcome, and the service was fantastic. I'll definitely go back!
