My room was huge, maybe I got lucky, with a couch, two TVs, and a shiny closet with glass doors and its own light. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. The beds are very, very soft, which is great if that's what you like, but probably too soft for someone with back problems. Breakfast was really good, and an outside friend can join you for a reasonably priced meal. It's right next to the train station, which is very convenient. The outside of the building doesn't have much charm, but the renovated interior looks modern. I liked the decor, though the carpet on the third floor could use refreshing.

The breakfast buffet was top quality, with a great choice of food and drinks. Rooms were super clean and cozy, and there's a gym plus a nice lounge where you can buy drinks well into the evening or night. The staff were excellent. Laura at reception was especially friendly and lovely. It's a very nice hotel near the city center, and I'll visit again if I'm back in this part of Sweden.

The breakfast was a real strong point, which surprised me since breakfast is often weak in Sweden. There was delicious, good-quality tofu scramble and vegan sausages, along with great breads, not the awful kind from local supermarkets. The cheeses were excellent too, including good brie and hard cheeses. The coffee was undrinkable, but Swedish hotel coffee is always like that, so I wouldn't take off a star for it. My stay at Hotel President was better than expected, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and halls felt fresh, with nice carpeting. There was a slight buzzing sound in the bathroom, probably from the ventilation, but it wasn't a major issue, even for someone like me who's sensitive to noise.

A quiet room, a very good breakfast, friendly staff, and a great location. Great hotel.
