Hotell Nordic

Breakfast was amazing, with loads of choices, and I especially liked that they had Nutella. The pool was small, but the temperature and bastu were relaxing. My room was great, though oven hot when I arrived. I opened the window for some air, then noticed the train tracks right outside and the noise was too much. I asked at the front desk to borrow a fan, and they gave me one. I slept really well with it on.

The staff were perfect, really helpful. The room was okay and the quality was fine, though the view from the window was nothing to comment on. The location isn't ideal, but there's parking beside the hotel for an extra 85 Sek per night. In the wellness area, one sauna was out of order and the others were okay. Wellness access costs an extra 200sek.

It's a good location, about a 10-minute walk to the city center. Breakfast was good, pretty much in line with Swedish hotel standards. The minibar was noisy and couldn't be switched off. I asked the staff for coffee creamer and was told it would be brought to my room in two minutes. I'm still waiting.

It's very close to the station, and the place is decent and clean, even if it doesn't look like a Star hotel. My single-bed room was neat, comfortable and had a nice feel to it. The heating and other room amenities were good too. Breakfast brunch was okay, but a little greasy and could be better quality. That's the only drawback. The front staff were very friendly and spoke English.
