Källan Hotell Spa Konferens

The surroundings are worth a walk, especially the view from the hilltop, with the nature and wood art along the way. During our stay the hotel was quiet, with no conferences or crowds, and all we could hear was rain and other sounds from nature. Dinner had no choice of dishes, but what they served was cooked perfectly. The server struck a nice balance, never intrusive and always there in time for the next course. The dining felt polished right down to the full set of cutlery and professional service. There's also a small, clean indoor pool, a sauna and places to relax.

I was traveling north from the south for work and ended up staying here for 9 nights. It was the best hotel I found on the way, with great views, a great location, and the best dinner and breakfast. It's lovely being somewhere you hear only birds and wind. The staff were really friendly, the rooms very clean, and the sauna and pool were fantastic. Workers, I'd recommend it. I'll miss the place ❤️

May 2022. On my second stay, five months after the first, it went from 5 stars to 3. The room wasn't clean this time, with peanuts under the couch and rubbish still there. Dinner was lovely again, but staff didn't tell us what would be served. Drinks could no longer be charged to the room, so in the pool you had to bring your swish or credit card. That felt really unfriendly. A bachelorette party played music outside late into the night until we stopped them. There don't seem to be rules against it, but this is a spa hotel and shouldn't host parties. In the morning no one was there to check us out, which made me wonder if they were cutting costs or just didn't want feedback. Sad. November 2021. What a surprise: the best service I'd had in four years in Sweden. Great job. The spa was nice, food good, beds comfortable, and Mario was a five-star host. We'll be back soon.

The staff who were there really tried to make the best of things, and that was the one bright spot. It used to be a good spa hotel with good food and service, but this visit was short staffed. Management communicated badly with the staff, so there was very little food and even that wasn't what we'd ordered. We got our rooms late and breakfast was very limited.
