We had 16 people for our annual Swedish-American Thanksgiving weekend and rented the whole Vandrarhem. Everyone enjoyed it. The service was wonderful, the beds were comfortable, and we had lunch and played American Football in the nice garden. The artwork in the rooms is quite extraordinary. It would be even better with a dishwasher in the Vandrarhem kitchen and hooks for jackets in the entryway and rooms. We can recommend the place.

We’ve been back several times, and it’s been fantastic every time. Everyone is very friendly, and the place is very, very clean, with everything furnished so lovingly. The garden is great for relaxing and for the children to play. Absolutely recommended, and we’ll be back!

Benita was the best host I’ve ever met. She welcomed us so warmly and paid attention to every detail to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I was there with the Access to Success project through Erasmus+, and couldn’t be more grateful. The hostel sits in a beautiful natural setting, with a large garden and a lovely jacuzzi. The rooms were super comfortable and clean, and the shared areas were fantastic. I highly recommend it for a cozy, comfortable stay. Thank you, Benita!

The place is incredible, and I’m frustrated it only has 4.5 stars! People have made it so warm and welcoming, with open hearts. There are creative posters by a Lithuanian artist in the rooms, while old Swedish books are all around the interior. It’s great for summer camps, recreation, or workshops. The grounds have a feeling of pure charity and beauty. Highly recommended.

A cozy place with a wonderfully friendly and helpful host. The stylish, colorful rooms and other spaces are clean and made with love. It’s perfect for a stay with family or friends, with a big outdoor area and a hot tub. There’s a lake nearby for swimming, plus a forest hiking path with lovely picnic spots. My best recommendation!
