Staying in the floating hotel room with my girlfriend was magical. The room was cozy, clean and had what we needed for a relaxing stay, and the staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Waking up with the peaceful lake just outside the window, surrounded by silence and nature, was unforgettable. Highly recommended for a unique, peaceful getaway.

Breakfast was fine, but I wouldn’t return. We booked a 'Dubbelrum Elegant' and got room 7, which felt shabby and unloved, with the hallway outside seeming to double as storage. It wasn’t elegant and didn’t feel worth 1500 SEK. The bed was right by the door, pushed against the window, and there were no bedside lights.

The owners clearly take pride in this lovely, quaint hotel, built in 1917. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated and have all the amenities, and breakfast was delicious. Set in a beautiful part of Sweden, it’s a great base for walks and enjoying nature, with lots of activities in the area. A fun, relaxing place to stay.

We’ve eaten at the restaurant two years in a row, but haven’t stayed overnight, so I can only speak to the food and restaurant. It’s cozy, the view is lovely and the food is delicious. I can really recommend it.

The service was great, and the staff were friendly. We had a clean, pleasant room with a priceless view in this gorgeous, authentic hotel, set in a peaceful green area with trees and water. Since the sun sets so late, evening walks are lovely, and you can also get out on the water by canoe or paddleboard, or go bicycling. Highly recommended.
