Breakfast had enough choices to suit everyone, and the view across Siljan was lovely, with cows grazing in the meadow below. The rooms were good, with a shower, toilet and wardrobes, and the preserved old interior details made the place feel warm and pleasant. It’s a bit away from the center, so a car or bike helps, though you can walk the 1.5 km if your mobility allows. The staff were really nice and accommodating.

Gärdebygården has a calm, harmonious feel, and the staff were cheerful and welcoming. It sits beautifully by Lake Siljan, with older hebbren and cottages nearby that seem full of history. The rooms were quite okay and affordable.

Such a lovely place, with a friendly, open atmosphere and warm hospitality. The standard is good, especially for the price.

Lovely views and a really nice place to stay overnight. It would be perfect if the buses ran more often.
