It's a beautiful, well cared for place, and I find spending time here relaxing and peaceful. The facilities and service are excellent. For swimming, a warm, sunny day is best because a chilly breeze can sometimes pick up, especially later in the day. Bring a jacket in case the weather turns. Highly recommended for a fun day out or a quiet getaway.

Lovely sandy beach, and very child and dog friendly. The water stays shallow for quite a way, so kids can play easily, but you have to walk out quite far to swim in deeper water. There's also a boardwalk leading to a slide you can jump from into the water. We had cold winds most of the time, with just one hot, nearly windless day, and that's when we swam 🥰. It's well maintained, but quite expensive.

We didn't have much luck with the weather, so that may have coloured our impression. Still, having all the EV chargers out of order was really not acceptable in 2022. Food options, especially healthy ones, were seriously lacking. Several playground pieces were broken, and maintenance seemed poor in general. The area itself was kept clean and tidy.

There’s a lovely public beach beside a campsite that’s very well equipped. You’ll find a sauna, places to eat, minigolf, and a playground right on the beach for kids. It’s clean, too.
