Best Western Hotel at 108

The rooms were very clean, the location was good and most staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast too. My husband has food allergies, and the woman working there took time to explain what he could eat. She was professional and kind. The next morning, though, we saw an angry man repeatedly yelling at her as we came in for breakfast. I don't know if he was her manager or a coworker, but as someone who manages in hospitality, I don't think staff should be treated that way, especially in front of customers. We felt awful for her, particularly because she'd been so professional with us. He needs to learn some manners and stop showing aggression in front of guests. If he acts like that where customers can see, we can only imagine it's worse behind closed doors. The other staff were respectful and friendly, and we hope the issue gets resolved.

The rooms are tidy but short on space. I booked a “superior” suite and still felt cramped, though I slept well, which made up for that. Breakfast runs until 11. Reception was extremely courteous, including when I was leaving, but the lobby itself felt mixed. John 14:6 Bless, Eliot Robinson

The staff were incredible, polite, spoke perfect English and were always ready to help. They kept the breakfast room clean and the food topped up. Breakfast was as good as it gets in Sweden, and you could use the coffee machine whenever you liked. A hot coffee before heading into Stockholm's weather was just right. We stayed three nights in a windowless room. It was small but cosy, clean and comfortable, with enough space and a nicely designed bathroom. A good fit if you won't be spending much time in your room. It's the cheapest option within a 20-minute walk of the city centre. They also let us leave our luggage after check-out.

We paid €340 for a double room with breakfast for four nights, which felt fair for an expensive city. The bedrooms are tiny, but the hotel and rooms were very clean, the breakfast options were brilliant and staff were super friendly. The location is great, close to two metro stations, plenty of restaurants and within walking distance of the tourist spots. Our hairdryer didn't work, so we switched rooms and got an upgrade to one with a window, though there was no view. The windowless room was actually bigger, so don't be put off booking one. I'd definitely stay here again.
