Biz Apartment Bromma

The way we were treated by the staff was unbelievably disrespectful. I’ve stayed here many times and have always been able to call reception to extend checkout, then pay for the extra time before leaving. This time I called about an hour before checkout, and was told an extension was fine. After that, the cleaning staff kept knocking and coming into the room multiple times, even though we’d explained that reception had approved the extra time. Then the receptionist, FANNY, came up and knocked too. Her attitude felt threatening, and she insisted we come downstairs right away to pay, even though the stay itself was already paid for. My husband asked how we could come down immediately for the extra hour when we were asleep. She yelled that it didn’t matter. We asked if she could bring up the card machine if payment was so urgent, but she refused. We also asked for proof that this was the policy for paying immediately for late checkout. She couldn’t provide any, and it hadn’t been required before at this hotel or its other locations. Both my husband and I feel deeply traumatized by what happened. I will never book here or at the other locations with the same name again, and we’ll tell everyone we know to stay away from this place.

I’ve stayed at this apartment before and had a very good experience, but this time went badly. I had to leave early and was expecting a refund. I asked three different receptionists how it worked, and each told me to call a phone number. Since I’d paid at the hotel, I couldn’t understand why the refund would be handled that way, so I checked three times. After checking out, I called on the way to the airport. The person who answered was very unhelpful and said I had to be at the hotel in person to get a refund. I explained the situation several times before she finally agreed to look into it. After more calls and emails, I eventually got an email saying I’d be refunded. There was no apology, just a claim that I’d misunderstood. Getting the same answer from three receptionists isn’t my misunderstanding. The confusion is within the company. Stay away from all Biz App if you might need a refund. You need to speak Swedish to have a chance of getting one.

We spent 5 days here, and the room had comfortable beds plus a kitchenette with a stove, fridge, and dishwasher. It’s right by Bromma Tram station and a shopping mall, with ICA and restaurants nearby. Parking was free, which was great. The reception staff were polite and excellent. They brought us 2 fans, a crib, and a child seat. There’s no restaurant or buffet breakfast of their own, but they supplied breakfast bags in the mornings. That worked fine for us, since we could cook in the room too.

The apartment was modern and had nearly everything we needed. There’s a supermarket directly below the building, plus plenty of restaurants and a market within walking distance. Reaching the attractions takes at least 2 train rides, though walking around is lovely too.
