The old center of Stockholm was a great location for this nice apartment, but getting inside was tricky because of the virtual key. Luckily, a 24/7 call center was available. I'd recommend going straight to property 26 to get a physical keycard, then walking 50 metres back to property 12. Keep in mind there's no elevator.

I arrived at the Old Town Apart Hotel at 6 PM on January 30, 2026, after getting off the plane, for a two-day stay. The owner saw us on the building's security camera but never contacted me. I had to ask an acquaintance to call the old, faded contact number on the door. After a lot of effort, the owner finally told me there were three of us but the reservation was for one. I'm sure I selected three people on Booking.com. The owner sent a link to pay extra, but the amount was very high, double what we had already paid. We asked to cancel and followed his instruction to send a cancellation request through Booking.com. The cancellation fee went to the owner, and we were left without a place to stay, walking around looking for another hotel that night. The owner scammed us and is completely untrustworthy. He got paid for a room he never gave us. I've never been scammed like this in any country I've visited. I used to feel safe as a tourist here, but this changed my mind, and I don't plan to return. I don't trust Booking.com either, and I'm deleting the app and my membership. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
The price is the one thing keeping this from a one-star rating. The camera-based system is no help when the room is missing basic things. We had one glass and one toilet roll for four adults, and not enough blankets for everyone. They call it 24-hour service, but it seemed more like help was available for three hours, whenever they felt like it. The whole setup was scandalous.
The apartment is comfortable, and the old town location is the main reason I recommend it. Since the area is pedestrian-only, expect to walk part of the way. You can cook or warm something up, but you’ll need to bring or buy everything, even salt.
For a short visit, I’d recommend this comfortable apartment in the heart of the old town. I enjoyed my stay. Check the photos and make up your own mind, and sorry about the mess in them. Mind the bed’s edge. The room is tight and I hurt my foot on it twice. There’s no sign on the building or door, so follow the address and ring at number 26.
