Executive Living Old Town Unique

The location is superb and the building has real character, but I thought there was a real risk of getting hurt in this apartment. We hired it for three nights, from 3-6 September 2018, and the facilities weren’t up to a good standard. Several lights had to be switched by plugging and unplugging wall sockets, with cables running along the walls and ceilings. The shower was over a claw-foot bath with sides so high that someone with reduced mobility couldn’t use it. The bath wobbled violently while I was showering, and I nearly fell. We wedged folded cardboard under one foot to steady it, but it only partly helped. With the shower head on its wall bracket, it was inches from a light fitting. I can’t see that passing UK health and safety standards.
