Sidsjö Hotell & Konferens

There’s a small, quiet playground just outside, though it may be noisier during the school term. The rooms are simple and clean, the staff are nice, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen. You can use the fridge and freezer too.

It was fine for a quick overnight stop, but nothing special. The hotel is basic, and could even be called a hostel or motel, since it’s in a former hospital building. Breakfast was alright, served in what felt like a school cafeteria. We arrived late, and there was no evening or night reception. We got in through doors locked with a pin code, then had to find our room and key by ourselves. We had a family room with four beds and a private bathroom, though I think many of the other rooms use shared showers and toilets.

The dining area was really cozy, and the receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Thank you for packing breakfast in a bag for me! The rooms were spacious, clean, and nice, and the shared bathroom was very large, clean, and fresh.

The breakfast was simple but excellent. When we arrived, the receptionist was on her way home, but kindly got us a room and stayed into overtime to help.
