The food was good, and we ended up having a great experience at this restaurant by the canal. The host seemed quite unfriendly at first, but the waiter assigned to us more than made up for it. He was attentive, helpful and charming.

They don’t seem set up for people coming in for lunch. The capacity is for conference groups, and other lunch guests are expected to wait 45 minutes for their food.

Richard at the front desk made a huge difference to our visit. He went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as he could. It’s rare to come across someone so caring and dedicated. We had an exceptional experience at the hotel, thanks in large part to him. 💫

The rooms are all individually decorated around themes like rock and roll, savanna and passion, so none of them looks the same. It’s right by the Trosa creek estuary and harbour, and probably the best boutique hotel in Trosa.

We were upgraded when we arrived, which was a lovely surprise, and they even have bikes guests can use. Every room is different, and ours was great. The staff, breakfast, atmosphere and decor were all lovely, and parking includes destination charging as well as other spaces. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast isn’t a buffet: they take your order and bring it to you, which feels more sustainable.
