We stopped here for one night on a road trip and checked in very late, at midnight. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, giving us a ground-floor room when they noticed our heavy suitcases without us having to ask. Everyone we spoke with could use both Swedish and English, which helped a lot. The hotel is cute and has its own character. There’s a big games room, lots of lounge seating, a pool and sauna, beds and toys for dogs, snacks to buy, and a restaurant serving dinner and a breakfast buffet. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, with a wide choice of meats, vegetables, yogurt, and pastries, plus a gluten-free section. They also had coffee machines and vanilla iced coffee. Our room was tiny. It had a double bed and twin bunks, so with three adults it felt cramped, and there wasn’t much space for suitcases. There was no air conditioning, but the windows opened and a large fan was provided. The beds were comfortable.

It was just okay, nothing more or less. Don’t expect much.

The room was quite okay otherwise, but it got very warm because there was no air conditioning. The key card wouldn’t work with the room lock, which caused extra hassle.

Hotels are public places and should stay neutral on opinions and beliefs rather than use their position to impose them on others. There were LGBT rainbow flags displayed at reception.
