Being centrally located and reasonably priced were real pluses, and the view was great. Breakfast was good too, with fresh bread. Online check-in was easy, including making your room keys. I did miss having contact with a person, though. A few room details could be better. The layout is quirky, with the sink in the room rather than the bathroom, and there’s no kettle or coffee maker. You can't even make a cup of tea at reception. The TV loses its signal every five minutes, so mirroring your device is probably the better way to watch.

Breakfast tasted good, but with different items at separate stations it got a bit chaotic when the hotel was busy. They also ran out of plates, glasses, and food options several times. The hotel feels fresh and nice, though its do-everything-yourself approach and QR codes for one thing after another got annoying. At least during peak season, they should have a receptionist and give information in person.

It's a modern, stylish hotel in central Umeå, in the same building as the library. The rooms have a nice view and breakfast is good. There are nearby parking options in a garage, but the hotel doesn't arrange parking.

The self-check-in was straightforward: opposite the lifts in what looks like a shopping mall, there's a computer where you can check in. Our room was cute, clean, and big enough for the three of us, with a great view. Our girl loved the design, though the breakfast wasn't really to our taste. The hotel sits right by the river in the middle of the city center, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Parking could use clearer guidance. You can only park in front of the hotel briefly, and the closest garage is by comfort hotel. It cost 130 kr for the whole night. There was dust falling from the ceiling while I blow-dried the girl's hair. The ceiling is very high, so I don't think regular cleaning can fix it, but the design is poor. Also, when we drained the bathtub, water flooded the whole bathroom floor. We didn't complain since we were only there one night, but I'd avoid taking a bath in room 810.
