The breakfast was very good and the room comfortable, but the customer service was poor. The iron in my room was damaged and left a burnt mark on my shirt while I was in town for business. They asked me for the shirt’s receipt to reimburse me, even though they knew people don’t keep receipts for shirts, especially one costing 70 euro that could have been bought a year ago. I found that completely dishonest. There are plenty of hotels in town, so choose one that understands hospitality.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious, though it cost extra. The hotel is in the city center, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are small but clean, and the heated bathroom floor was a real plus on a cold winter morning.

The central location is about the only thing I’d recommend here. The worn interior had deposits along the room panels, and the bathroom was even worse. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, possibly sewage or technical fumes, and it could easily leave you with a headache. Housekeeping acknowledged the smell, while reception denied it. That was insulting. Breakfast was below average, with poor quality produce, dry bread, low-quality coffee, cheap cheese and charc, and no care put into it. Not worth the price at all. I could have added the recording of housekeeping acknowledging the bad smell, but gdpr🫶🏽

The location was great, and the daily breakfast was included. I was there with my family for a conference in Uppsala, staying in the “family room.” It had two single beds and a pull-down bunk, which left very little space once the bunk was down. With temperatures in the mid-to-low 20s, the air conditioning couldn’t cool the room enough at night. There was no fridge either.
