Kungs Starby gård Bed & Breakfast

I stayed in the Hen house during a business trip, and Lina and Karl’s hospitality made a real difference. The work I was doing was emotionally heavy and painful, but from arrival to departure they treated me so well that I felt like a VIP and more. I spend 3 weeks out of 4 abroad and have had much less pleasant stays. The 5 stars are more than deserved, maybe even not enough. Thank you so much, everything was perfect!

The Hen House was a beautiful, renovated historic building, which I believe used to be a chicken stall. We were on our way home from Finland and would definitely book it again if we’re in the area. Everything was very clean, and there were even snacks and drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with eggs, several kinds of sausage, ham, cheese, marmalade, juice, and much more. The real gems of this bed and breakfast are the hosts. Linda and Karl are friendly and kind, and you can ask them for anything. They’ll make sure your stay is magnificent.

The Henhouse had a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom stocked with shower gel and natural hair products. Each day, I had a magnificent breakfast basket delivered to my door with all the essentials, along with homemade organic bread from the hosts. This charmingly renovated historical King's Farm is right at the entrance to the picturesque town of Vadstena. The lovingly designed spaces have everything you could want, from fresh cotton sheets, fluffy down duvets, and comfortable beds and sofas to a natural, modern, minimal Scandinavian style. The atmosphere in this really traditional old house is amazing. We arrived completely soaked after a long bike ride, and the extremely nice people there took us in, made us coffee, cake, and beer, then helped us find somewhere to dry our clothes and store our bikes. I hope to return.
