The house has been renovated and is clean and nice. The owner was very helpful.

2/10
The noise made it impossible to sleep properly. We could hear the neighbors, and there was constant pounding from upstairs. The sheets had blood stains, and the room felt stuffy even after the host had changed them. The door was also difficult to unlock from inside, so be careful in a fire. We had booked two nights, but after standing it for three hours, we left. At 1300 SEK a night, this isn't what we expected. New Year's rockets were clearly audible too, so it isn't suitable for dogs frightened by bangs. The host didn't understand our complaint, wouldn't compensate us for the bad experience, and didn't listen. We were very disappointed. Not recommended; choose somewhere else in Österlen.

Österlen is a lovely, fantastic setting, and the accommodation was okay overall, but it felt pretty standard. The renovation had a slightly plasticky feel. The bathroom floor slopes the wrong way, the duvets and pillows are synthetic, and the dishwasher was broken.

A peaceful, wonderful base for exploring Skåne. One of the best places for it.

We had rolling fields right outside our room, and everything was close by. The owners were fantastic, and the accommodation was fresh and met all our needs. Recommended!
