A Hotel Bugis 11Hrs Stay From 8PM To 9AM

The bed and sheets were clean, and the room itself is decent for a short visit or an hourly booking during a layover. But I wouldn’t recommend it for a comfortable night. Noise carries clearly through the thin walls from the door and neighboring rooms. Around midnight, loud sounds and sudden thuds from another room kept waking us, and we could even hear a man snoring elsewhere. The centralized air conditioning meant we couldn’t set the temperature ourselves, which made sleeping uncomfortable. There was no handheld bidet sprayer, and the TV didn’t work. When we asked reception about it, they didn’t seem to understand the problem or try to fix it. That lack of help added to an already disappointing stay.

There’s plenty of halal food nearby, and the location is convenient, close to Bugis MRT and easy to get around from. We stayed with our child, and the staff kindly upgraded our room for free to make things more comfortable. They were helpful and nice, and the room was very clean, which matters a lot to me. Good value for a hotel in Singapore. We’d definitely come back.

The hotel has been newly decorated and is affordable, with most tourist attractions close enough to walk to. We had a bit of a mix-up with the cleaning service, but they did come and clean in the end. The walls don’t block sound, so you may hear people talking in other rooms.

The bedding was good and the place was clean, and the staff were super friendly. Thanks to Geoffrey for being so polite and helpful, and for the great hair and perfectly shaped eyebrows. I’d hoped for a room with a window and the recent renovation mentioned in other reviews. Maybe because I booked through a third-party app, I was given the only room left at the last minute.
