Atlantis Pods at Little India

Pros: They let me check in early. Cons: The bed sheet wasn't clean, and when I asked for a replacement, they kept asking for an extra 10 SGD. The room smelled so bad that it was hard to stay there, and the pod itself smelled bad too. The air conditioning didn't work, just made a noise, and I got some air from the fan. The toilets were slippery.

The pod lock didn't work, there was no power inside to charge anything, and the staff didn't seem to care. The place was cramped, filthy, and noisy at night, with no white noise. My bed smelled like wet, dirty socks, and many long-term guests were unpleasant. I've stayed in several pod hotels, and this was easily the worst. Believe the reviews and stay somewhere else, anywhere else, or at home. Just don't stay here.

The toilets were extremely dirty, and there was a foul smell throughout the single-level hallway of capsules. My skin was itchy all over, possibly from the unclean bedsheet. Some guests were friendly, while others gave off bad vibes and scowled as if I owed them something. On my third day, I noticed someone had tampered with my luggage passcode. Luckily I managed to reset it and unlock my bag, but I was upset enough to pack and leave shortly afterward. Hygiene needs to be dealt with if they want people to stay or return. I hope this draws attention to the privacy and security concerns.

The staff kindly rescheduled my room when personal reasons delayed my trip. Unfortunately, the second-level capsule door wouldn't lock, so I left my belongings inside but kept my luggage with me. There were only two shower rooms, which meant waiting if both were occupied or showering early. It was my first capsule hotel stay, and a new experience for me 🥰
