The owners are the hostel's best feature. They're super friendly and cute, and the place has a nice, homelike feel. Everything is clean and the amenities are as they should be. It's a good spot for a pleasant, comfortable stay on a budget.

The comfortable beds each have their own locker, and the shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean, with hot water. Tea and coffee are available all day, but bread is served only in the morning, from 8am-10am. You need to wash your own dishes and put them back where they belong. The hostel is at the corner of lavender street and Hamilton Road, and shoes aren't allowed inside, so you have to go barefoot. Slippers aren't allowed either. There's no elevator, so carrying lots of boxes up the stairs could be difficult. The air conditioner runs only from 8pm-8am, and you'll need to use the room fan at other times. It's a suitable hostel if you want somewhere to stay for a few days and don't expect hotel room service.
