Blanc Inn

The other guests were courteous and always greeted me with a smile. The staff were friendly too, especially LT, who personally helped me at check-in and check-out. I stayed five nights in a solo room at Blanc Inn. It was peaceful and clean, with a reasonable price for someone travelling alone who wants privacy without spending too much. It's easy to get to and from Lavender MRT. Thanks to the owner, management and staff for giving me a safe, clean place to stay in Singapore. See you again!

They have a self-check-in system, and the place was really comfortable. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with just a bed that fits two, which worked for our two-person booking. It also had hangers, towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste, plus a safe. The shared toilet was very clean, as was the kitchen. There was complete cutlery, a water dispenser, and free coffee and tea.

Faizal's friendly service helped make up for some of the downsides. I chose the hostel because it was among the cheapest options for an expensive F1 weekend, but the rate was still about 100 USD for one night in a tiny private room without a bathroom. I understand the event pushed prices up, yet it felt unreasonable for that room. It was claustrophobic, the AC was loud, and sound carried through the room. I also wasn't comfortable leaving my bag in the luggage area, since it was unsecured and anyone could get in.

The location is excellent, and the nearby bathrooms are clean. The room is just about enough for one person, and the doors close with a lot of noise that can disturb your sleep.
