I stayed for three nights. The rates were listed as $75 Monday to Thursday and $100 Friday to Sunday, but I was told the weekday price had gone up to $100. When I challenged it, they said the hotel was fully booked. Over the next three days, it didn't look anywhere near half full. The TV remote wasn't even handed out to guests. Other hotels being busy doesn't give them the right to raise their price too when they don't have that same occupancy. There was a construction site right opposite, with nonstop hacking from 8am to 6:30pm. The TV was already very small and only had Suria, Vasantham, and CNA. The instant water heater couldn't manage even three minutes of hot water.

A good, clean budget stopover, better than I expected. The air-con and Wi-Fi worked well, the window had a nice view, and food nearby was very affordable. There was even a toothbrush in the bathroom. The station was close and it was easy to get to the airport. I'd recommend it if you're watching your budget.

The room was small and felt overpriced for what it offered. The lighting was arranged oddly: my daughter needed a central ceiling light for reading, but there was only a main light by the doorway and a bedside light. The whole room stayed dark, so there wasn't much to do besides sleep. Furnishings were limited to a small table-cabinet and a makeup table. On the plus side, the room was clean, the air-con was okay, and the twin beds were fine to sleep in. The bathroom had strong hot water.

It was clean and comfortable, and at the time the price was among the best in Singapore. The value felt pretty good, which is why I gave it four stars. It's not a five-star hotel, but it doesn't charge five-star prices either.

For 60 SGB, you get a bed, air-con, TV, and internet. If you don't need anything fancy, that's really all you need. The good parts for me were the excellent air-con and very good WiFi. Reception was friendly, and if you asked, the room was kept neat and clean. The TV even had HBO. I'm not very experienced with budget hotels in Singapore, but staying here was an experience. I just wanted to mention the good things, rather than moan like people who pay peanuts and expect five stars.
