Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel

The wedding food was a real highlight. We loved it at the tasting, and guests complimented the dishes on the day too. It stood out from typical hotel wedding food. The ballroom setup was excellent, with the lighting, AV and projector all working smoothly. Banquet Managers Jee Hong and Cheng Wei were attentive and helpful throughout. Willius deserves special thanks for his professionalism, dedication and support across the whole process, from signing the contract to the end of our wedding nearly a year later. He was consistently helpful, accommodating and reassuring, and on the day suggested better arrangements for our schedule that helped the event flow. There are a couple of things that could be improved. There was no preparation room on Level 3 near the ballroom. Our bridal suite was spacious and had very good lighting, but the lift ride between it and the ballroom took a long time, so I spent a significant part of my wedding day waiting for the lift. A nearby preparation room would improve things for future couples. Also, the air-conditioning wasn’t cold enough for about 280 guests. It felt warm, and my husband perspired heavily through the banquet. Better cooling for a larger crowd would make it more comfortable. We’re grateful to the team for their care and professionalism, and had a memorable wedding with our guests.
