It's decent value for Singapore if you need a budget place, but the bathrooms smell a bit and leak a lot, even though they're clean overall. If you want peace and quiet, there are much better options in the area. Also, avoid it if you don't like kids: children stay in the same rooms as adults, including mixed dorms and all-female dorms. Not bad, but nothing special.

Good budget option, cozy enough, with a nice breakfast and facilities. It can be a bit noisy. The place is on the third floor, so it's more comfortable without heavy luggage. It's near Lavender station, though I had trouble finding it at first.

The place was clean enough and the bathroom was clean. I brought my child and booked a private room, which they were fine with. Breakfast was okay, just cereal and toast. They didn't provide towels, so bring your own. Reception wasn't always at the desk, so be prepared if you're in a hurry.

The price is fair for what you get, though you'll have to accept some compromises. We spent four nights in a queen pod. It's nice to have one locker per person instead of per bed, and the staff are friendly, though they may not always know English. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available in the rooms. The bathrooms get pretty messy with so many people sharing just a couple for showers and toilets, and the upstairs bathroom area is cramped.
