Duxton Reserve Singapur, Autograph Collection

Our 2-night honeymoon stay at The Duxton in Singapore was unforgettable. The hotel is gorgeous, intimate and full of old-fashioned character. From arrival, the team made us feel special and warmly acknowledged our Marriott Gold status, making it feel like a celebration instead of just a booking. A special thank you to Daniel, Thivana, and the whole team for being exceptionally kind, thoughtful and accommodating. They surprised us with wine in our room, helped us take beautiful photos around the hotel, and made every interaction feel warm and genuine. They made our honeymoon personal and memorable, and we'll always be grateful for how special they made our time at The Duxton.

The staff made this stay for us. Jamil the Bellman, Sophia at reception, the breakfast team, and the bartender were all warm and attentive, and we felt really looked after. We also had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant, and the hotel bar is gorgeous, a great spot for photos. We were upgraded to a suite with a spiral staircase and a loft bedroom. It looked beautiful, though the room was a little dark. The decor throughout is chic and distinctive. The location is hard to beat too, right by Maxwell MRT on the brown line, close to the bars, restaurants, and coffee shops around lively Tanjong Pagar, and within walking distance of Chinatown. I came with a friend for a few days on a trip back to Singapore, where we'd both lived for two years. We didn't get to try the award winning Yellow Pot during our short stay, but we've heard good things. I'd stay here again.

The hotel’s architecture and design give it a lovely old time feel. Just walking around, we felt as if we’d stepped into another era, and we can’t wait to come back. We spent two nights at Duxton Reserve for our honeymoon, and Daniel and Thivana welcomed us so warmly when we arrived. They’d decorated the room and left cake and wine for us, which made the visit feel extra special. We had a perfect stay in Singapore :)

Ali at the lounge makes a great cocktail and is happy to chat about things to do around town. The staff were all so helpful, with great recommendations. The hotel has a quiet, old world five star feel, and the rooms are wonderful. It’s tucked away enough to stay peaceful, even though Chinatown, Little India, the famous hawker centers, and the train station are nearby. I love staying at Duxton Reserve. Whenever I’m in Singapore, I do my best to stay here. 10/10 recommend.
