ibis budget Singapore Pearl (ex. Fragrance Hotel - Pearl)

Getting around is easy, with two bus stops close by for different routes. There's a supermarket nearby and lots of restaurants around, including halal options. The facilities are good and the amenities feel pretty complete.

We're on our third day here in a bunk bed room on the 8th floor. The design is amazing, and there are lots of restaurants nearby as well as a food court not far away.

The location is convenient for buses, and the customer service was excellent. Staff also changed the towels every day, and the room stayed tidy. For a budget hotel, the stay was acceptable, and I'd consider returning if the price stays reasonable. Thank you Ibis Pearl! The air-conditioning struggled to cool our room, took a while to reach the temperature we wanted, and leaked once. The filters may not have been cleaned properly, since we started sneezing, so room cleanliness could be better. The twin beds had plenty of space between them but kept sliding apart, so we had to move them back. Thin walls let through coughing, sneezing, and conversations from nearby rooms. We stayed several days. The room was spacious enough for two, with basic necessities, decent lighting, and a fair price, though it wasn't especially cheap. There was just one small chair, and I think there should be two proper ones. A little fridge or cooler would have helped too. There was no hot or cold water dispenser, only an electric kettle.

This wasn't an ideal place to stay. The location felt too far from both the MRT and the city centre, and the hot water didn't get hot. Young people and adults were noisy in the corridors all night.
