The second-floor lounge was a great place to get some laptop work done, with free coffee and cappuccino and an outdoor terrace. I also liked the rooftop terrace. The neighbourhood feels leafy and peaceful, yet restaurants and a grocery store are an easy walk away. Our room was quite spacious by Singapore standards, and the hotel itself is simple but nice. I'd happily return.

Getting around by MRT meant walking up and down a hill, so be ready for a bit of a workout. The hotel itself was clean, and the front desk staff were really friendly. There’s a washer and dryer, plus a basic but good breakfast.

A nice jogging path circles the mountain, which is a good bonus if you run. I found the hotel good value and centrally located. Breakfast was good too, though it starts only after 7 or 7:30 AM. If you leave before your planned checkout date, they can let you use the remaining days on a future stay, but they won't refund them.

I was there for exactly 30 nights. The room was comfortable, and the front office team were friendly and very helpful. They gave me a free laundry coin for the longer stay. Breakfast tasted good, but there wasn't much variety, so I was getting tired of it after a week.

The rooftop garden was a relaxing spot with a nice city view, and we also liked the comfortable shared area. Breakfast was included and good. We enjoyed our two nights at Hangout; the rooms were simple, but clean.
