Mama Shelter Singapore Orchard

The rooftop pool was a refreshing place to unwind, and our room was clean. I also liked the eco-friendly facilities and the hotel’s colourful, vibrant decor, which gave it a fun atmosphere. We spent three fabulous nights at Mama Shelter Singapore. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed every moment and hope to come back. Highly recommended!

The staff made the whole experience, from the front desk crew to the bartenders, reservationists and managers. You were all amazing, thank you for an unbelievable stay! The design was breathtaking throughout, from the entrance and hallways to the elevators, pool and restaurant. And the sleep was incredible. I’ve never been in a building this soundproof; you couldn’t hear a thing in the room. The automatic blackout blinds blocked every bit of sunlight, with automatic wooden blinds as well. Add the silence, phenomenal comforters and pillows, and I had the best sleep of my life. I love this hotel.

We especially liked how the restaurant staff looked after our family of three kids. The food was exceptional, and the cheeseburger was so good that even my parents, who don’t usually like burgers, were impressed. I’d highly recommend eating there. Mama Shelter Singapore is in a very handy spot, a short walk from the train station, near Orchard shopping street and opposite a great run of eateries along Killiney Road. The room was small but well planned, with a bench, small table, and separate bathroom and toilet. The water dispenser was perfect with a baby, and we appreciated the umbrella, bathrobe and tea bags. The design has trendy pops of colour and playful details without being too much. Doors felt heavy and solid, and we barely heard corridor or outside noise. The service was warm and friendly from arrival, and the hotel made us feel at home. We had a wonderful staycation and would happily return.

Only the towels gave us a small problem: they’re so new that they left some lint. I’m sure a few washes will sort that out. The hotel is brand new and impressive as soon as you walk in, with a clean, modern, well-designed feel. We liked the room layout, found the bed very comfortable and thought it was great value. Special thanks to Pang, Jeff, and Cho for the warm welcome and excellent service. We’d definitely recommend staying here 😊
