The best part of my stay was housekeeping. She was polite, professional, and thorough every time, and her work was the only part that met a satisfactory standard. The television, though, showed static throughout all four nights. There were no channels at any point. I called the front desk on the first evening and was told the whole hotel had signal problems. They offered no fix or apology, and the staff member ended the call discourteously. The next day I reported it again to someone else at reception, who said an engineer would come inspect it. Nothing changed, and it seems nobody came to the room. Going four nights without any in-room entertainment was disappointing and below reasonable expectations. With the problem left unresolved and the complaint handled this way, I can’t recommend the hotel.

The price is very affordable by Singapore standards, and the location is okay, near bus stops and Zhongshan Mall. Rooms are adequate and mostly clean, though there aren’t many amenities. You can ask reception for things like a toothbrush. Breakfast was just okay too.

The view from the hotel was nice, and the food was good. Our room and bathroom were smaller than we expected, but both were very clean and well maintained.

Mila at the front desk helped us get an early check-in. The room was clean, there was a water dispenser, and the hotel was near a mall. It was great value for the price, and I’d return.
